One of the things I've done in my hiatus from AWF is to start a column that helps writers help themselves in the edit process.  It debuted this fall and was bi-monthly; starting in January or February it should come out every month (if I can think of enough topics!).  So far I've done two columns.

If you're interested, check out www.ViciousWriters.com, look for the "Columns" tab, then go to "Stretching Exercises."  The second article is up still, and the first should be in the archived issues (October 2009).  That had an overall theme of zombies, so I had fun weaving editing and zombies together!  The second one is called "Apostrophe Alert."

Between Christmas and New Year's I've got to come up with a third column ...  Tongue
